Uninstall the current Thunderbolt software from Device Manager > System Devices (look for anything labeled Thunderbolt or USB4). Install the Intel driver package. Reboot your system. Reconnect your Thunderbolt device. After fixing the driver, you can also lock the display orientation in Windows to prevent accidental swaps:
